Hachiroku Damashii
Everytime I see another picture of this car or an update of its release status, I want this car more and more. I find the culture and cult-following of the AE86 to be so interesting. Not to mention the FT-86 is the result of a collaboration between Subaru and Toyota. Does it get any better? I sure hope this car lives up to the hype and its predecessor…
I found these pics on Speed Hunters

Mini Martin
Via FreshnessMag: Luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin have been developing an interesting concept car far away from its normal scope. The Cygnet is a vehicle based on Toyota iQ that takes inspiration from classic Aston Martin styling such as grille, front fender vents and hidden door handles along with original tail light designs and over-sized rear spoiler. Interior is also wrapped up in gloss black trimming and premium leather upholstery and equipped with an iPhone dock. Toyota based 1.33 liter Dual VVT-i engine pumps out 99 bhp and the Cygnet is good for 55 miles per gallon with a CO2 emissions rating of 120g/km as a result of its CVT start stop system. The release dates are not finalized but these are most likely to be in production in 2010 or 2011 with a limited sales in European regions only.
Straight West Coast’n
I thought I’d share some pics from my trip to San Fran. Enjoy…
Here is a pic from our plane ride in.
Any time I travel to somewhere that I haven’t been before, I always take notice on the fashion and car culture that an area has. San Fran easily has both without over-doing itself. Here are a few random snaps I took just on the street.
This one threw me off for a sec. I can honestly say that I’ve never seen this swap done before, and I’ve seen alot.
Super clean Z on the street…
2-stroke on the street? Where I’m from, you only see these in the woods…
Playing with the wide lens…
While I was in San Francisco, I wanted to visit many of the designers and boutiques I had only seen on blogs. My first stop was at Black Scale, located right in Union Square.
Once inside, we were greeted by Rubin. He was super cool and was a major help in me navigating my way around town. If you’re in the area def check them out.

The store had a very clean look with a good use of space, considering they had 2 motorcycles on display…

Since we were in Japan town, we had to try the sushi and see how it fared against New York…
Ok, that didn’t last very long. After the first bite, I wanted to eat the plastic grass too…
No Rotas here…
LOL
Here’s a few pics of the shop…
Niki told me that they had recently gotten back from a race and all the
race cars were still loaded on the truck, except for this beautiful
Spoon Integra…
Some of the other cars being serviced…
Super clean Spoon EG
AE86
I caught this clean EG right outside of Autotech…
If you’re in the South San Fran area, check these guys out for all your Spoon needs!

Well, that’s it folks. That was my summarized trip to beautiful, laid-back San Francisco, California. Thanks for reading!
LAMBORGHINI ANKONIAN CONCEPT
Posted by detoadmin in Coming Soon, Design, Exotic Cars on December 16th, 2009
Text via automotto: The mid-engined supercar has a narrow and rather complex-looking body, with a garnishing of GT proportions. Thin OLEDs embedded between the surfaces function as headlights, and while all those lines may look weird, the Ankonian supposedly makes the best use of it all. The concept was named after a bull type famous for black hair, and since the designer had some help from professional designers at Lamborghini and Audi, the finished model has impressive looks.
